Wichita Habitat for Humanity believes everyone deserves a safe and affordable place to call home. That’s why the organization will be bringing back its signature fundraising event, Raise the Roof, at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 27. This year’s event will be held at Wichita Habitat’s brand-new headquarters on Opportunity Drive (located at 2220 E. 21^st St. N. Wichita, KS 67214), symbolizing the opportunity for homeownership that families achieve with the organization.

Raise the Roof has become a beloved tradition, bringing the community together for a night of fun, purpose, and impact. It’s not just about raising money; it’s about celebrating the stories and life-changing experiences of Habitat families.

All proceeds from Raise the Roof go towards critical programs that empower hard-working families:

• Homeownership: Assisting families in achieving the dream of homeownership and construction of homes in Wichita and Sedgwick County
• Home Repair Program: Providing necessary repair for existing homeowners
• General operations: Ensuring Wichita Habitat can continue its impactful work
