About the Riverfest Panel Build
Bring your team together and join Wichita Habitat for Humanity at this year's Wichita Riverfest! Our Riverfest Panel Build kicks off on Saturday, June 1 with volunteers donating their time and skills to build a house for a local family.
The purpose of our Panel Build is to construct all wall panels necessary to build an entire home. Once the panels are built on June 1, stop by and sign your name on a stud; paint part of a design board, or sign up for future Wichita Habitat builds any time between June 1-8!

Build Your Team!
Participate in the Riverfest Panel Build as a team! Team builds are an opportunity for your company, organization, faith congregation, school, or other community group to help advance a shared vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. As part of this project, this team build gives your group an opportunity to learn new skills, strengthen relationships and engage with their community in a meaningful way, all while having fun at this year's Wichita Riverfest!
For a $2,500 donation, we will host your group of up to 10 participants at this year's Riverfest Panel Build. We will provide all materials and training your team will need for this project. We will also give you a shoutout on social media for participating in the build during Riverfest! Your team will also have the opportunity to build for a day when the house is under construction.
How to Sign Up!
Signing up is easy and takes just a minute! Once you've assembled your all-star team of 10 participants, you're ready to register.

- 1.Gather your Team: Make sure to have a team of 10 participants.
- 2.Register your Team: Find the “Register” button below.
- 3.Submit your Team Name: Your default email application will open. Enter your contact name, phone number, email, and team/organization name (or company name) and send it to Katie Frank at [email protected].
- 4.We'll Get You Signed Up: Katie Frank, our development director, will receive your registration and get your team signed up for the panel build.

Meet Seth & Krista
Seth and Krista are a hardworking couple with dreams of a place to call their own. With a young child and another on the way, their current living situation feels increasingly cramped. Seth works tirelessly while Krista cares for their son – but the rising cost of rent leaves them with difficult choices each month. Groceries or utilities? Bills or new clothes for their growing child and future newborn baby?
Wichita Habitat for Humanity understands these challenges. They see Seth and Krista's potential and desire for a stable future. Owning a home would be a game-changer. A mortgage payment, significantly lower than their current rent, would free up resources to breathe easier, to invest in their children's futures, and to finally build a secure foundation for their growing family.
Seth and Krista applied for the homeownership program for a chance to build equity and a future filled with hope. They are ready to partner with Wichita Habitat, achieving their dreams of homeownership.
