Exciting news, Wichita! Wichita Habitat for Humanity will soon be moving into a new facility in northeast Wichita this fall. The new space will allow the organization to consolidate its program office and warehouse operations under one roof, creating a unified center for its mission of affordable housing solutions.

A New Home for Our Mission

Located at 2220 E. 21^st St. N., this marks a significant step for Wichita Habitat for Humanity. Owning a building for the first time allows for several exciting advancements:

• Empowering Education: The organization will be building a dedicated classroom and community space to empower the community through homebuyer education and financial management classes, helping individuals and families understand the path to homeownership.
• Warehouse Space: The warehouse will increase storage space will allow for efficient organization of construction materials and a sense of security.
• Volunteer Opportunities: With its construction warehouse and community space, the organization can provide more expanded volunteer opportunities.

Since 1986, Wichita Habitat for Humanity has partnered with hundreds of families to achieve the dream of safe, affordable homeownership. This year, it aims to construct 15 homes and assist 30 families through its Home Repair Program, working tirelessly to close the need for affordable housing gap in Sedgwick County. Now, with its sights set on serving even more, it’s embarking on a new chapter.
