Congratulations INTRUST Bank on your 10th Community Build.

Celebrating a milestone: INTRUST Bank’s 10th community build

On October 8, Wichita Habitat for Humanity and INTRUST Bank celebrated a significant milestone: the bank’s 10th community build. This partnership is a testament to the bank’s commitment to advancing economic development and inclusion in the Wichita community.

INTRUST Bank’s 10th community build is part of the Rock the Block Piatt initiative, a project focused on revitalization. Rather than building a new home, INTRUST Bank rallied their team to help breathe new life into existing homes.

To mark this momentous 10th build, INTRUST Bank came together to celebrate with Victoria, a future Habitat homeowner, by helping hang the address numbers on her house. Victoria is a dedicated mother partnering with Wichita Habitat for Humanity to secure a stable and affordable home for her two children, Emmory and Royale. Seeing the INTRUST Bank team’s hands-on effort, lending a hand and a heart, was an inspiring moment.

“This is about deep community revitalization and stability,” said Danielle Johnson, executive director of Wichita Habitat for Humanity. “We are incredibly thrilled to have INTRUST Bank continue to join us in our mission and to be part of this Rock the Block Piatt journey. Celebrating a 10th community build is a wonderful milestone and a testament to their unwavering dedication.”

Wichita Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Through construction projects, repairs, and community initiatives, the organization impacts hundreds of lives each year by removing barriers to affordable housing.

INTRUST Bank’s commitment to the community goes far beyond financial support. Their ongoing volunteerism and investment are crucial to making revitalization projects like Rock the Block possible.

Both organizations invite the community to join the effort. “To all the dedicated volunteers, thank you,” Johnson added. “Your energy, skills, and dedication are what make these projects possible.”
