WICHITA, KS (Apr. 10, 2024)— Service For Change, a collaborative initiative comprised of 16 breweries, bars, restaurants, and a spirits brand, proudly announces its ambitious mission to raise $100,000 for Wichita Habitat for Humanity. This endeavor will unfold through a series of events and campaigns scheduled from April 2024 to April 2025.
By bringing together like-minded establishments, Service for Change aims to pool resources and efforts towards the construction of a new home, enabling a family in need to build a brighter future.
Throughout the upcoming year, Service For Change will host a diverse array of engaging events tailored to involve patrons from all 14 participating establishments. These events will encompass exclusive wine and beer dinners, live music performances, and special cocktail and culinary offerings, with proceeds directly contributing to the fundraising objective.
Service For Change is more than just a fundraising initiative; it embodies the spirit of intentional giving and collaborative action within the service industry. By uniting under a common cause, we amplify our impact and demonstrate the power of collective hospitality.
Inspired by her experience at Leadership Wichita, Jennifer Ray, the Owner of Monarch, spearheaded the initiative to bring together local restaurants and breweries, “We believe in the power of community and the potential of collective action. We wanted to do something BIG together— and what’s bigger than building a house?”
Service For Change extends its gratitude to all partners, supporters, and participants. Join us in this noble endeavor as we embark on a journey to build hope, homes, and brighter futures for families in our communities.
The launch of Service for Change’s official website will coincide with its launch party at Central Standard Brewing on Saturday, May 4, 2024. Proceeds from CSB’s Lunacorn beer and merchandise will be donated to the cause.
