Wichita’s restaurant and bar community has already raised nearly $60,000 for Wichita Habitat for Humanity—and now it's time to celebrate!

Join us at Public & Brickyard on Tuesday, October 14 to celebrate the Service for Change initiative. For just $5, choose a beer glass from our collection— it's yours to keep! Proceeds from the evening will go directly to Wichita Habitat for Humanity to help build a home right here in Wichita.

The party starts at 5 p.m. with live music kicking off at 6 p.m. and a check presentation will be at 6:30 p.m. Come raise a glass, celebrate community, and toast the incredible ICT restaurant and bar industry that made this possible. Let’s keep building together!

This incredible collaboration brings together 16 Wichita businesses, including breweries, bars, restaurants, and a spirits brand to support Wichita Habitat for Humanity. The mission is to pool resources and efforts towards building a new home for a deserving family.

Public is an all-inclusive farm-to-table eatery for the whole family! Adjacent to Brickyard, Old Town’s premier outdoor music venue, we first opened our doors in 2012 for dinner service with the goal of serving fresh and regionally sustainable ingredients to create our take on the flavors of local cuisine. We achieved this by partnering with various local vendors and designing an eclectic menu transcending the old and the new. Our original menu derived much of its inspiration from the nostalgia associated with our historical location and Travis’ experience growing up in that space, combined with the culinary influence of the current trends originating in St. Louis at that time. From our nationally recognized food to our laid-back atmosphere, there is something for everyone at Public!

Before transforming into one of Wichita’s premier outdoor music venues, the original Brickyard building had a unique and dynamic history. This family owned-and-operated business not only holds significance for our devoted owners but has also become a cornerstone of Downtown Wichita!
