Antique Mettlach PUG Beer Stein #2177/960 "Jester with Lute"

A collectible antique quarter-liter beer stein. Hand-painted colored enamel depicts a scene of a jester lying on the ground playing a lute or mandolin. Pewter lid handle displays the Munich Child.

Underside of the stein is fully marked and impressed. Good condition with normal wear and one hairline crack inside from the rim.
