This privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy") sets forth the terms under which you share your personal data with Wichita Habitat for Humanity, what information Wichita Habitat for Humanity processes, how Wichita Habitat for Humanity collects and uses your data, and your rights with respect to understanding and modifying how it will be collected and used.

Principles, Actions, and Beliefs
We will hold in confidence all information concerning donors and prospects, including addresses, names of beneficiaries, nature and value of estates, amounts of provisions or gifts, etc., unless a donor or prospect grants permission to use selective information for purposes of referral, testimonial, example, recognition, or publicity. Donor names are listed in various newsletters and the annual report, unless we are notified specifically about their wish to remain anonymous.
We will not share, sell, rent, or otherwise offer information about donors to other organizations.
We contractually require any person or organization providing services to Wichita Habitat for Humanity, to protect the confidentiality of donor information.
We have procedures in place to limit access to information by only those employees and volunteers who need to know such information in order to fulfill our mission.
We will use our best efforts to comply with the expressed wishes of any donor who does not want their name used in any promotional material, wishes their name removed from solicitation and other mailing lists, or wishes to have their gifts or services by anonymous.
We will collect, use, and share information about our supporters among employees and volunteers only on a need-to-know basis and for the sole purpose of carrying out Wichita Habitat for Humanity's mission.

Credit Card and Billing Information
We value our partners, donors, and customers and take their privacy seriously. When you make a donation or purchase, Wichita Habitat for Humanity asks you for your billing address and credit card (or other financial services information). Wichita Habitat for Humanity uses a third-party banking agent to process your payments via a high-grade and secured socket layer connection (TLS 1.2 using SHA-256 encryption) to a secured server that verifies your credit card/bank information. This is the industry standard in security protocol. They return a unique tracking number only, which cannot be decrypted obtain the payment card information, and Wichita Habitat for Humanity never retains your payment card information.
Only employees who need access to your personal information to perform a specific job are granted access to that information, and Wichita Habitat for Humanity and our banking agent will not share your credit card/bank information with any other third party.
Sensitive Personal Data: We do not collect your "sensitive personal data" (e.g., health or dietary information) unless there is a clear reason for doing so—such as your participation in a sponsored physical event—and then only to the extent such data is required to ensure that we provide appropriate facilities or support to enable you to participate in the event.
Should you support Wichita Habitat for Humanity in a substantial way, we may provide an account manager to help tailor your relationship to us and the information you receive from us to suit your interests. If this is the case, we may collect demographic data where relevant to your relationship with Wichita Habitat for Humanity. If you provide us with information about your health or your family, this may also be recorded so we can communicate with you in a considerate and appropriate manner.
All sensitive personal data is stored on a password-protected system to which only a limited number of relevant staff have access. It is deleted when no longer needed by us, is never shared with third parties, and is available to you at any point should you wish to see it.

Non-proselytizing Policy
Habitat for Humanity International, Inc. ("Habitat for Humanity") and its affiliated organizations will not proselytize. Nor will HFHI work with entities or individuals who insist on proselytizing as part of their work with HFHI. This means that HFHI will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condition that people must adhere to or convert to a particular faith or listen and respond to messaging designed to induce conversion to a particular faith.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
If the function is available, when visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the data down in the comments form, and also the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. What we collect and store
We collect personal information to support our housing programs and to aid you in obtaining such services from our organization. We collect personal information about you from the following sources:
- Information that we receive from you on applications or other forms;

- Information that we receive from personal and employment references.
Our donors will comply with our CRM fundraising and event management software privacy policies and donor information will be collected as necessary to support our mission. You may choose to remain anonymous or opt-out of any information you do not wish to disclose.
While you visit our site, we will also track:
- Products you've viewed: we will use this to, for example: show you products you have viewed;
- Location, IP address, and browser type: we will use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping;
- Shipping address: we will ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order.
We will use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you are browsing our site.
When you purchase from us, we will ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details, and optional account information like username and password. We will use this information for purposes, such as, to:

Event, Venue, and Organizer Information
If you create, submit, import, save, or publish Event, Venue, or Organizer information, such information is retained in the local database:
- Venue information: name, address, city, state, postal code, country, phone, website, geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude)
- Organizer information: name, phone, website, email
- Event information: description, time, date, cost, website, image
Importing Events, Venues, and Organizers:
- All data present within a CSV or ICS file and external URLs (for events, venues, organizers, and tickets)
- Import origin data (URL from where events are being imported—such as Eventbrite, MeetUp, other compatible URL sources, and more, which can include similar or same data as listed above)
- Ticket information: name, description, cost, type, quantity
Please note that to create new events through the Events submission form, a user must hold a website account on this domain. This information is retained in a local database. It is also possible to create events anonymously, if the website owner has this option enabled. When purchasing tickets, attendee, purchaser, and order information are stored and managed by the respective event website.
API Keys
We make use of certain API keys, in order to provide specific features. These API keys may include the following third-party services: Google Maps, MeetUp, PayPal, Blackbaud, Eventbrite, WordPress, Lightspeed, Ecwid, and more.
Who on our team has access
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us, such as your name and contact information. Our team members have access to this information to help us fulfill our mission.
What we share with others
We may disclose your personal information to the following types of unaffiliated third parties, with your consent:
- Financial service providers, such as companies engaged in loan underwriting services; and
- Others, such as nonprofit organizations involved in community development, but only for program review, auditing, research, program referrals, and oversight purposes.
Blackbaud and PayPal Policies
We accept donations through Blackbaud and PayPal. When donations a processed, some of your data will be passed to Blackbaud or PayPal, including information required to process or support the donation, such as the donation total and billing information.

Lightspeed/Ecwid by Lightspeed Policies
We accept payments through Lightspeed. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Lightspeed, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

Donations
We collect information about you during the donation process on our website. This information may include, but is not limited to, your name, address, phone number, credit card/payment details, and any other details that might be requested from you for the purpose of processing your donations.
Handling this data allows us to:
- Send you important account/donation/service information
- Respond to your queries, refund requests, or complaints
- Process payments and prevent fraudulent transactions. We do this on the basis of our legitimate organizational interests.
- Set up and administer your account, provide technical and donor support, and verify your identity
Additionally, we may also collect the following information:
- Your donor comments if you choose to leave them on our website
- Cookies which are essential to keep track of your donation history whilst your session is active. This allows you to access your donation receipt without being a registered, logged in user
- Account email/password to allow access to your account, if you have one and if this feature is activated
- If you choose to create an account with us, your name, address, email, and phone number, which will be used to populate the donation form for future donations — only if this feature is activated
