Air Capital Build
Wichita Habitat for Humanity is pleased to launch the 2024 AIR CAPITAL BUILD! We will combine forces with partners in the aerospace industry to build three homes concurrently.
About the Air Capital Build
The AIR CAPITAL BUILD campaign is designed to bring people together from across the aviation industry to share our city's pride. Wichita is proud of our aviation industry, and our corporate leadership whose generosity gives so much back to our community.
We want to continue the good work happening in the Rock the Block neighborhood and we are asking you to collaborate on building three Wichita Habitat for Humanity homes in the new year. We believe that affordable homeownership allows families to establish stability in their work and their children's education.

Kathy
Kathy's dream of homeownership has burned brightly since 2018. Overcoming past hurdles has only fueled her determination, and now she stands poised to turn that dream into reality.
Her journey is a testament to resilience. Balancing school work with a strong work ethic, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Social Work in 2020 and recently graduated with her Master of Social Work in 2023. She is committed to education, caring for others, and working full time. She has been a powerful symbol for her family and continues to work hard on securing a stable and nurturing environment to call her own.
The chance to collaborate with Wichita Habitat for Humanity fills Kathy with excitement. She envisions not just walls and a roof, but a place to cultivate her dreams – a yard for laughter, a garden for growth, and flowers that bloom with the joy of accomplishment. As we begin this year's Air Capital Build, Kathy is more than ready to invest sweat equity and her immense spirit into this endeavor.
