Put your generosity into action in meaningful, new ways through our partnership. As a volunteer, you'll discover how helping to build safe and affordable housing in partnership with families can have long-lasting and life-changing benefits.
Choose one of our available build days and help build homes with families in need of affordable housing while experiencing comraderie and team-building with other volunteers, especially those from your team!
Are you ready to volunteer?
Signing up is quick and easy, and helps us plan ahead! Use our schedule to pick your day that you would like to volunteer, create a profile (or sign in if you have volunteered with us before), confirm your service day, and you're done! You'll get a confirmation email upon registering for your day of service.

- Closed-toe tennis shoes or boots

Kiara's Journey
Building a Safe Haven for KaiKiara embraced motherhood with the arrival of her son Kai in 2020. As a single parent, she faced challenges, including navigating the COVID-19 pandemic and financial difficulties. Despite her resilience and remote work, a temporary contract and rising inflation forced her to move in with her mother.
While grateful for family support, the crowded household lacked privacy, making it difficult to raise a growing child. Kiara's primary focus is on creating a safe and nurturing environment for Kai's development.
Learning about Wichita Habitat for Humanity's affordable housing program, hope blossomed for Kiara. Habitat's program aligns with her unwavering determination to build a stable foundation for Kai and herself. This opportunity will empower her to manage a home that prioritizes their well-being and fosters a peaceful space for Kai to thrive.
