A historical item. 1942 World War II MKI Indian Bayonet.1.01lbs and 16 3/4" long. "GRI" and "RFI" engravings near the bottom of the blade indicate Georgius Rex Imperator and Rifle Factory Ishapore respectively.

The "GRI" initials and crown illustrated on the blade of the bayonet represent the British Monarch's rule over India, which lasted from 1858-1947. Additionally, "RFI" is the common engravement of British established rifle factories in Ishapore, West Bengal, India.
