Media Advisory: Bank of America volunteers with Wichita Habitat to build a home as part of Global Build Week

WHAT: Wichita Habitat for Humanity received a $15,000 grant from Bank of America to support the construction of a new affordable home. This generous contribution will help cover the cost of essential materials, ensuring that a deserving family has a safe and stable place to live. This grant builds upon the bank’s long-standing commitment to Wichita Habitat for Humanity which has totaled $137,500 since 2020. On October 4 and 5, local Bank of America employees will volunteer with the organization to help paint the exterior, caulk around the house, and do general cleaning for the next phase of the home that they have co-sponsored.

During Global Build Week, Bank of America employees will volunteer with Habitat organizations across the U.S. to help build, repair, or renovate homes alongside homeowners.
