Become a "Habitat Woman of Hope"
Join us for the 2010 Women Build by becoming a “Habitat Woman of Hope”! The “Habitat Women of Hope” is a special group of women that provide volunteer efforts and financial resources to make the dream of homeownership a reality for one local woman. A generous anonymous donor has agreed to match the funds raised by the "Habitat Women of Hope" up to $30,000.
Women are encouraged to raise at least $75 to directly underwrite the construction costs of the home. This can be done by simply asking three people to donate $25 each to sponsor that woman during her build day. By raising money, these women will receive the chance to sign up for the build before it is open to the public, personal recognition as a sponsor of the build and also recognition as a “Habitat Woman of Hope.”
